Parx Casino has proven to be one of the most profitable casinos in Pennsylvania, and they have recently expanded in order to continue building on their success. On Wednesday, Parx added new table games, as well as a noodle bar, to their casino.
The new games are predominantly Asian-favorite titles. Pai Gow, Pai Gow Titles, Sic Bo, mini-baccarat and midi-baccarat tables have all be incorporated into the casino.
In addition to the table games, jobs have also been expanded in order to fill out the positions for the new games. Approximately 400 new jobs have been created in order to fill the gaps created by the new games.
Approximately 400 new employees had been brought into the Parx Casino, primarily dealers.
This is unlikely to be the last expansion enacted by the casino. Parx is currently working through a multiphase expansion planned over the next few years.
A total of 71 new gaming tables had been brought into Parx casino. In addition to all of the casino games, a poker room series of poker tables had been incorporated. Of the 71 tables, 21 are for poker, adding to the 57 poker tables that are already in the casino’s poker room.
